From May 17 to May 19, the “Enjoy Life” Ouyang Silver Economy Market, organized by the Ouyang Road Subdistrict of Hongkou District, was successfully held at the South Square of Lu Xun Park in Shanghai. The event attracted the attention of government leaders, industry experts, and local residents. Distinguished guests, including Zhang Wei, Deputy District Mayor of Hongkou District; Shen Jingwei, Director of the District Civil Affairs Bureau; Wu Zhiyong, Director of the District Commerce Commission; and Jin Binbin, Director of the Civil Affairs Bureau of Huzhou City, attended the opening to witness Ouyang Road Subdistrict’s new initiatives in enhancing community well-being and promoting the development of the silver economy.

The event also featured an appointment ceremony for volunteer experience officers in assistive technology from Minhang District. Representatives from various disability groups — including the District Blind Association, the Deaf Association, and the Association for Persons with Mental Disabilities and Their Families — took the stage as the first cohort of assistive technology volunteer experience officers. By sharing their firsthand experiences, these volunteers will play a unique role in all stages of assistive technology research, development, and application, helping to continuously improve these products.
